Summer 2008 Concert:

• Sunday June 29th, 2008 at 3:00 pm:
“Our ‘Bon Voyage’ Concert at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Springfield”

Join us for an advance performance of the program we will perform in Northern Italy during the first week of July. Forty-five members of the chorale will perform around Lago di Garda near Verona and at St. Mark's Cathedral in Venice. The program for our Bon Voyage Concert consists of a mixture of classical, American spiritual, and popular songs.

2008– ’09 Concert Season Schedule:

• Saturday December 6th, 2008:
“Holiday Music with Brass Featuring the Magnificat by Jonathan Willcocks ”
— Featuring Gloria by Jonathan Willcocks, the spiritual Mary Had a Baby, and other holiday favorites.

• March 28th, 2009:
“Sing in Spring”
— A collection of popular, Broadway, folk, and madrigal songs welcoming the new season. Selections include a choral work by American composer Eric Whitacre.

• May 16th, 2009:
“Great Hits of the Northern Virginia Chorale”
— A reprise of our favorite choral works from classical to folk; jazz to pop; and spiritual to secular choral works. Join us after the program for hors d’oeuvres and desserts.
